On Saturday, August 28th, I took a walk along the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway and came across a wonderful dance performance by the Chu Ling Dance Academy of Boston.With the setting sun creating a natural spotlight for the stage, the audience was treated to flowing color and elegance.
The Chu Ling Dance Academy was founded in 1998. It offers classes for all ages in traditional Chinese dance, integrating forms of ballet and a contemporary dance style to their repertoire. Through the Chu Ling Dance Academy performances at events such as First Night Boston and The Greenway, they are cultivating an environment of awareness and appreciation for diversity through grace, beauty and tradition.
