The Camp Sunshine-Boston Pumpkin Festival was once again held at City Hall Plaza in 2008. On Saturday, October 18th, the crowds gathered to enjoy music, games, refreshments and a chance to express their pumpkin carving creativity.
The excitement of the day culminated at dusk as Camp Sunshine volunteers began to light the jack-o-lanterns. At the time I left, I believe there were 20,000 amazing jack-o-lanterns awaiting illumination.
All in all, it was a great day of fun that ultimately will benefit a fantastic organization - Camp Sunshine.
