On Friday evening, September 10th, the Boston Arts (ahts) Festival kicked off its 8th annual event in Christopher Columbus Park. What started as an afternoon program in 2003 has expanded to a three-day event.
According to the event website, the festival features over 70 juried artists including sculpture, glass, pottery, photography, painting, jewelry, and metal working to name a few. Performances that varied from folk, Rock, R&B, Brazilian and Jazz were held on alternating stages. One of the biggest treats has been a performance by the Boston Ballet. Once again, they dazzled the crowd!
